This is a substantial ring in the fact that the pearl sticks up more than 1/4" from the band. It is attractive no doubt. But I have to say the quality of the workmanship of the band appears mediocre. The overall band is made of five thin strips of metal that are soldered together at the bottom, and then fan out at the top and then soldered in place with the strips there spread out. The gaps between the five bands at the top, though, are pretty inconsistent. If you look at the listing picture it's actually pretty much as shown. Maybe that's what handcrafted means. Not to knock that aspect too much, as when wearing it the inconsistency is somewhat masked by the other fingers. But still, I would expect a bit more uniformity. Bought a size 7 and it fits true to that sizing.
