I chose this as my engagement ring because it's my birthstone surrounded by my fiance's birthstone.....PERFECT! They are absolutely genuine ruby's, opal and silver, and the ring came absolutely true to size. The ring design was also the perfect size, not too small or too large. each stone is exactly 5mm, so the whole "flower" is about 15mm in diameter. The back of the ring does not look too thin either, so it shouldn't break ANYTIME soon. I was half expecting to be disappointed because the price was so low, but I am very happy.... By the way, these ruby's glow brilliantly under black light!
