I enjoy picking out whimsical things for my wife. She loves the sparklies and I'm happy to indulge her. I have to be careful though, because some of the less expensive stuff comes out too cheesy. It's always a shame when the colors are dull or the metal is dingy. I'm relieved when a piece comes out nice like this one.I like the blend of peacock colors and the design. I also like the fact that the pendant is large enough to be able to see what it is but not so large that it makes her look nutty. A podcaster I listen to always says to beware of women wearing oversized amber beads because they're usually bonkers. This doesn't give off that vibe at all.This is a winner with:- Nice looking pendant- Very affordable- Not big enough to make you look crazy
