I bought my daughter a special handcrafted stone and sterling sliver pendant. I wanted to pair it with a chain, which I felt was not going to tangle or heaven-forbid snap while she was playing.This chain worked like a charm! Its heavy enough to hold the pendant nicely, and constructed well enough not to neither tangle nor snap if snagged. She wears it at night—against my better advisement--but thus far, three weeks into the use, nothing has happened to it. The clasp is attached securely to the chain, and the lobster-claw style hasp has not come undone.I tried several chains, and this one was the best of the bunch for my daughter’s needs.

Its ok. Light weight, budget happy. Great for layering, i buy a few different lengths that i can switch, swap, add a pendant, can make several dif. looks/styles these are great for that. If u want a chain that has some solid weight and drip that icey diamond cut bling this is NOT it. This is nice for what it is tho.

This is a very nice looking chain. it is shiny, but doesn't have the rhodium plating. I have silver chains with and without the plating, and it is really a personal choice. I preferred this one not have it. Nickel free was a great idea, as many people are allergic to nickel. I use this chain for a heavy jade pendant and it looks very attractive. The chain is not super thick but is sturdy enough for my pendant. This chain is appropriate for a man or woman and would look great with a number of different styles of pendants or charms.

This chain was the most brilliant, sparkly silver chain I had ever seen. However once my son put it on, it turned solid black within a day! I have never seen a sterling silver chain do that before. It makes me think that this is not a true sterling silver chain but perhaps only a silver plated one. For the price of the chain it should have been the real deal. buyer beware!

This is a nice chain. I am a normal size adult man. I put 2 sterling silver religious medals on it. The gauge of it is perfect for that chore. The chain looks heavy enough to be masculine without being overpowering. I would say it's probably best suited for an adult man, a youth, I would probably go a little lighter. Some other reviewers mentioned it was childish. If you're a body guard for a boxer in Las Vegas or looking for some street cred, this chain isn't for you.

Every time, I would straighten out one kink, it would travel further up the chain. Then I would try again. This chain is very pretty in appearance, but I would hate a kinky chain and I know it would not be comfortable. That is why we are returning it. My grandson wears his chain daily and I need a good chain for him. This did not fit the bill.

I found out my 13 yr old son was allergic to stainless steel. So I bought a sterling silver chain from a local store for his medal he wanted to wear. He was allergic to that. I found this nickel free sterling silver and he is NOT allergic! I thought about buying 2 because he has a medal and a cross that he wants to wear. This is shiny but he loves it and it looks very nice. And it's durable; he wears it when he plays baseball. Definitely worth the money!

This is a very nice necklace and seemed durable. I bought it for a friend's birthday but she thought it was too masculine. I recommend it, but maybe more so for a male.
