Garnet is my wife's birthstone, so the Tishavi 929 silver Necklace is a real hit with her. It's a sparkly tear drop shaped pendant that looks elegant on her chest and is a beautiful companion with a v-neck style top. It's lightweight and easy to wear and is a good choice for those who prefer worry-free less expensive jewelry that looks great. Sterling Silver is a fun choice and it's nice to see it trending again. The chain is unobtrusive and sturdy. It feels comfortable to wear. In fact my wife forgets that it's there. Overall, a decent quality piece that would make a thoughtful modest gift.~ Kort

I wanted to like this, but to me it looks like tacky costume jewlery. The CZ crystals overwhelm the duller center stone, which doesn't have enough luster or shine. The amethyst looks oddly clean for a natural stone and looks more like plastic than stone. It takes bright light to even see much color in the center stone. (See attached picture.)There are slots on the side of the pendant and tiny holes behind each CZ which lets in a modicum of light, not enough to show off the amethyst. The tiny CZs reflect a good amount of light but have almost no fire, which is typical for CZ but makes the pendant look cheap.We took the attached picture in very bright light so the color would show. Often you can barely see the color at all.It could work with more formal wear, but isn't really suitable for casual. The chain is very thin and delicate, so use with caution.

TISHAVI 925 Sterling Silver Pendant Necklace has a lovely garnet at the center which is a nice bright red and surrounded by diamond crystals in a teardrop shape. I love taking jewelry like this on vacation because if I lose it, I am not heartbroken. It is very easy to wear and the chain is a nice length at 18 inches. The clasp is a sturdy and the chain delicate. It has tons of sparkle in the sun. This can be worn for dressy occasions or even with jeans and a t-shirt.

The pretty amethyst colored crystal (or maybe it is a real amethyst?) is sparkly, enhanced by clear crystals. It's a fairly fancy/dressy design, perhaps not suitable for everyday wear. All of the stones are very sparkly, creating a quite arresting piece of jewelry. The chain is delicate and the clasp is nor very sturdy, so I am concerned about how well it will hold up over time. The necklace comes packaged in a small black velvet bag with a certificate of authenticity. It also included a lot of unnecessary plastic which was promptly discarded, and somewhat cheapens the item if you purchase it as a gift. I gifted the necklace to a 12-year old girl at the center where I run a tutoring and crafts program with the caveat that she had to help me write the review. She loved the necklace and commented on the silver chain and pretty design. Here's what she wrote:"I like my neckless because it is so cute and it is preaty."

Here are my wife's comments:"I want to be sure you know that this piece isn't for everyday use. I would say at a minimum semi-formal. Not coffee with friends in your sweatpants, not lunch at a fast food place. Something much more upscale than that, and really ideal for evenings out."The design is really lovely and elegant, and the stone looks so natural that you won't believe what you've gotten for the relatively modest price. The stone is nicely set off by the setting, and the color matching is perfect."The only downside, and I've come across this before, is that the chain is on the longish side, but not as much as with some other jewelry in this line. It was easy enough to shorten up."So I give it five stars. Wear it for nice occasions and you'll be very pleased."

My lady loved this natural amethyst and zircon pendant from Tishavi. The design was a classic setting that reminded me of a 1950s amethyst and diamond pendant sometimes worn by my grandmother. As was the case with my grandmother's pendant, this bauble was better suited for dressy occasions rather than casual, everyday wear.Like the diamonds they imitate, the zircon stones sparkle in the light, but the amethyst, while lovely, seemed less vibrant by comparison. The pendant's size gave it a decent presence on the neck without looking like a large piece of costume jewelry. However, the pendant completely overwhelmed the thin, thread-like chain from which it hung. My lady put the pendant on a more substantial (and shorter) silver chain from her own jewelry box.The price made this pendant a great value, despite the cheap-appearing chain. I recommend the pendant, provided you have a more substantial chain from which to wear it.
