LOVE this pendant! I bought one and then I bought three more! They are really good quality and are really tough. I was able to bend and then rebend the prongs into an entirely different position. I am rough on everything I own so I was worried when I read the comment the other reviewer left about the loop breaking. So far I haven’t had any signs of wear or weakness! I’m so glad I took the chance and got these pendants. I’m hoping they restock the 8mm in silver. Looking at the picture I posted the large silver pendant on the left is 14mm the two gold in the middle are both 8mm and the empty silver one on the end is 12mm.

Arms broke off before being able to adjust them properly for first usage!! Couldn't even get a stone secured!

This is a nice quality bale for a stone, or in my case, as sea shell my wife found that she wanted mounted as a small pendant necklace. The shell was a little more than 10mm in diameter and I got the 8mm bale. It worked perfectly by bending the tines a little with pliers. Note that the tines are quite sturdy and it takes considerable force with two sets of pliers to bend them to the shape you may want. I consider this to be a positive feature as, even though I used E6000 epoxy, I wanted the bale to do most of the work in holding the shell in place. The pictures show the finished pendant. I neededto twist the extension with the hole for the chain 90-degrees because I did not want to solder in a jump ring to get the orientation correct on the chain. Also, the pics show that the pendant is quite sandy at this point from multiple trips into the ocean around her neck. The bale with shell remains quite attractive even after many trips through the surf and beach wear.
