Nice size for my 3 & 5 year old. The screw back gets loose so we lost a couple pairs in the beginning. Now that I make sure to tighten the earring every night we don’t have any problems.Good for sensitive ears! My 3 year old had a reaction to the earrings used to piece her ears. No problems with these earrings.

No allergic reaction! Small enough for a young person. If you sleep in your earrings rounded screw on caps are the way to go. A big plus, in my opinion.

When I looked at the earrings online they looked a little less (for lack of a better word) cheap looking than they do in real life. I didn't notice they are for children and not an adult.

I bought these for me, not for a baby. I wanted to wear my ears double pierced, but the backs of the posts bothered me when they pressed against my neck at night, and I didn't want to remove them daily. Also for some reason my double piercings bothered me insofar as irritation from nickel, more than the regular ear piercings. So anyway, my niece had baby earrings for the same reason, so I decided to try it. What a blessing! They were harder to get in than regular earrings, which kind of drove me crazy. The posts are slightly fatter, which is a bit weird since they're marketed for babies, but I persevered and figured I'd never take them out once they were in. Eureka, once I did get them in, and the backs screwed back on, they're so extremely comfortable! I can sleep with nothing poking my neck, I have zero irritation due to the high quality sterling silver, and they look great! I will say that I was quite surprised by the size--they seem big to me, I mean a little bigger than I wanted (the gem part) so they'd be really big on a baby. I do like them now that I'm used to them, but for a baby they'd be super big, in my opinion. Anyway they are beautiful, and well worth the money! I'd definitely buy them again!

Purchased these for my 4-year old granddaughter. The very first day, one of the screw-on backings fell off. We were able to find it, and tried again a second day. Same thing happened - the backing came off. Either the earring is defective / or the screw-on backing is defective. I guess I should have read more of the reviews - I see quite a few reviews, stating the very same issue . Contacted the seller - no response. Contacted Amazon for a replacement / return, for damaged item. Will see what happens with the second pair... Unfortunately, not having a good feeling about this purchase ...UPDATE: We received the second pair of earrings. The exact same thing happened. We used both of the second pair as back-ups, and she lost backings / earrings, for both of them. Bottom line, we have one working earring and backing out of a total of four earrings, and have been charges for both pairs of earrings. I will contact Amazon to see if they will provide a refund. BUYER BEWARE!!!
