I have had my ears pierced for 40 years, but had not worn earring regularly for awhile. Recently had the occasion to wear some and found that I only had a few old pairs and had difficulty installing in my ears, with the holes almost grown over. I wore an old pair a few days and my ears became very irritated. I bought a pair from Amazon I really liked, but they had regular posts and the backs were too uncomfortable to sleep in. After much searching and reading reviews, I settled on this pair with hinged posts that lock into the earring shape, they do not poke you, just a simple continuous loop. Within hours of putting them in, the ear irritation subsided and by the end of day, they felt fine, irritation was totally gone. Haven't taken then out at all, so comfortable, very cute and best of all, irritation free. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, for comfort, for looks and for price, just a PERFECT pair for my needs.

These were just the right kind of earrings I was looking for. They are smaller gauge than the ones I was using, but they fit so much better. I think my other earrings were too big of a gauge starting off with, because my ear was hurting some days. I love silver and these are beautiful, the shape of them are extra style points.One thing to note, they are not solid silver. There is a channel on the inner side of the earring which has the possibility of getting stuff built up in there. Especially if you wear it all the time, including in the shower.

I always things are bigger when I shop on Amazon and when I get them in the mail I’m usually a bit disappointed. They are still really cute. Just small. I would like them to be twice the size. They are smaller than a dime.

I have tried so many other huggies, and the posts are always way too thick for the holes in my ears. These weren't super thin, but they were comfortable to put in. They are also super cute and go with everything! I have worn them every day since getting them.
