These blue topaz earrings are a cute accessory for a teen. The oval stones are pretty and large enough to be eye catching and sparkle in the light. The sterling silver setting is a nice design with how it’s raised and makes the stones stand out and look more substantial. The earrings have small post backs stamped “925” for sterling silver. These earrings aren’t fine jewelry, but they make an overall nice impression and would be a good gift for a birthday or high school graduation. These arrive in a plastic bag and include a black zipper pouch and certificate of authenticity. For gifting, these will make a better impression if transferred to an earring gift box, or taken out of the plastic and placed in the pouch with the certificate. I like these especially for a teen. 3.5 stars.

My lady has worn these Swiss blue topaz earrings from Tishavi many times since they arrived. Besides bringing out her blue eyes, the earrings complement her blue outfits beautifully.The mounting of the earrings could not be more traditional and simple: 5 mm x 7 mm oval stones framed by studs made from sterling silver. This plain mounting lets the beauty of the blue stones speak for themselves, while making the gems appear more substantial by raising them up a bit from the earlobe. I am surprised these stones are not color-enhanced, as the natural blue color is quite saturated, the same color as the blue Caribbean sea, and much deeper than one usually finds with blue topaz.The earrings come with a velvet-like cloth pouch and a certificate of authenticity from the manufacturer. (If you decide to gift these, you will need to remove the protective plastic over-wrap from the earrings beforehand.) Since these earrings represent an excellent value-for-money, I highly recommend them!

These genuine blue topaz oval earrings are the perfect first jewelry gift for a young girl. Or for that someone who prefers a simple, understated look. They sparkle quite a bit and remind me of the clear Caribbean waters. Because they are a light blue they do not have the richness of a garnet or darker stones. They are more playful, cheery and fun. These stones come with a certificate of authenticity and are set in silver. The silver will probably tarnish so I would keep them in the given small plastic Ziploc as much as possible to protect them from the air.A pretty blue color perfect for spring.
