This was a gift for my grand daughter birthday. Emerald stone is birthstone for May. The silver chain had 3 rings to make the chain longer or shorter. Pendant had the stone hanging from tree of life. Very pretty and the price was right.

This is marked 925 on the chain (at least I think, within the limits of my magnification, on the arm of the lobster clasp) and on the bail of the pendant. It is not magnetically reactive other than the clasp, which is normal and expected because the spring inside should not be made of sterling.The opal isn't stunning-stunning but you're not going to get that in a created stone. As created opals go, it's actually quite nice looking with medium fire. The workmanship on the tree in particular looks quite nice. The piece itself is very lightweight so it will be a comfortable wear.If you're wondering, it's a very close match to the FanciMe tree of life bracelet.

From my wife Sarah: I bought this for myself, so I like it for adults. It's really beautiful! It looks exactly like what you see in the photo. It's got that beautiful opalescent color with blues, teals and lavenders, and the little CZ's that surround it are beautiful. It sits just right below my neck. The chain is delicate and pretty. I do wish the clasp was a bit easier to use, but regardless, it's doable. The size of the opal/CZ circle is really just right. It's not too small or too large. I would wear this for every day outfits, or I'd also wear this for dressier outfits. I love it.

Per the wife: This is an absolutely beautiful necklace. The opal is very fiery and bright. It is the perfect size - not to large and not too small. The chain is sterling silver and a perfect length to show up above your blouse (unless you are wearing a high shirt) and long enough to fall below your neckbone. It is truly spectacular.
