The locket is easy enough to open, but does not pop open on its own. I needed needle nose pliers to take out the frame pieces for the photos but they came out with tools and went back in just fine. It holds two photos, and I picked photos where my dog was no more than one third of the picture. I cropped the photos to wallet sizes and put a canvas behind it that was 150% of the photo. I printed those as wallets and the pictures were small enough that I could cut out the heart shape around my dog's face. I used the frame as a guide and it fit perfectly.

I was VERY pleased with both the locket and the chain—PERFECT —it is exactly as described and as shown on the AMAZON website. It is a delicate, silver piece of jewelry. Btw, with a little patience, it was easy to get the photos inside—a very nice way to honor my cats.

Very pretty. I was hoping for a longer chain and where the chain holds the locket is very thin so I dont think I will be able to wear it all of the time like I wanted. But for the price and occasional wear it is giftable and pretty. I would rcommend it for those reasons.

This was a terrible purchase it looks nothing like it does in the pictures in real life. Picture size is way too tiny and the material is extremely cheap. Probably worth more like $5.
