Update: Had to take a star away. I still think this is a lovely design, but unfortunately as I said in my first review, it was already tarnished upon arrival. I tried everything at home (other than TARN-X which is dulling) to remove and polish it. I finally broke down a few weeks ago and took it to a jeweler for polishing which was more costly than I'd anticipated and when I picked it up was told how difficult it was to clean/polish the inside of the knot. While much improved, it's already showing tarnish again.This is a beautiful ring and I LOVE that it isn't rhodium-plated. It's almost impossible these days to find sterling silver that isn't rhodium-plated these days which in my opinion lowers the overall quality. Whether it's gold, platinum, or rhodium, let's face it, plating eventually wears off. Besides, all precious metals need the occasional polish anyway so what's the point? I would have given this ring 5 stars except that it was already tarnished on arrival and because of its rather intricate knot design will have to be taken in for professional cleaning and polishing. Nonetheless, it's a lovely piece of fashion jewelry well worth the price.
