Even though this cross is quite lovely, it measures less than an inch at 7/8". Make sure this size is acceptable before you buy. The photos give the impression the cross is much larger than it actually is. The chain is very thin, and the lobster clasp is so small, opening and closing it is tedious and would be almost impossible with artificial nails. I'm giving it as a gift but am replacing the chain with a better quality one. I've found that most descriptions of products throughout the internet whether they are jewelry or furniture, tend to make it difficult to find the sizes. Buyer beware.
