These were larger than I expected (even though the measurements were quite accurate)--and I had some doubt if they would look all right. Well, they did!! And they are quickly becoming a favorite. Although larger than I had expected, they look great! They do not get lost in long hair; they are striking when worn. The only part that takes me getting used to is the size of the hook (goes through the ear). A lot of my earrings (post and hook) are a little smaller diameter. So, I have had to gradually increase my wearing time. All in all, a great purchase and very well made.
