First off, the cross pictured by other customers is not the cross I'm reviewing. That is a different cross that is also listed with the one I purchased.I bought a crucifix where the corpus is cut out of the silver, not an attached or carved out Body of Christ. Mine is just under an inch. It's shiny and beautiful. It came with a short chain that is useful for me because (a) I'm a guy and a 16 inch chain is useless and (b) I like to use my own chain. I actually resent when companies include a chain because it is inevitably too short or stainless steel (which makes my neck green). What it does is drive the price up. However, this cross was $22, so nice and inexpensive.

I saw newswoman wearing a long cross like this one, and it was so beautiful! Your eyes were just drawn to it. Just on a whim checked on Amazon to see if they sold one like it and they did! I ordered it right away. It is beautiful, not at all cheapy looking in spite of the fantastic price. I just love it! It is shiny without being gawdy. Really well made. NICE!

I searched for a larger cross and this one is perfect. Very dainty and I love the hammered texture. I'm probably going to use a longer chain occasionally. Very pleased with this purchase !
