Okay, here's the thing. This is an absolutely gorgeous ring, and when my (then boyfriend, now husband) and I found it, I knew this was the engagement ring I wanted. And it met every one of my expectations. It was even more gorgeous than in the photo, and fit exactly as I'd hoped. But the problem is, the stones are not held in as well as they should be. The first time a sapphire fell out, I was able to locate it, place it back in the setting, and use jewelry clamps to tighten down the prongs the way they should be. Unfortunately, a couple months later, the stone fell out again, and I could not find it. I thought perhaps it was just a fluke, so we ordered the same ring again, and the other sapphire has now fallen out of this one. I love the design still, and I'm going to try to pull the remaining stone from one ring and try to actually super glue it into the other ring, but I can only conclude that these rings are not meant for daily wear. For the record, I work at a bank, not a job that's particularly hard on jewelry. I haven't had this problem with any of my other daily wear rings, and it's now happened twice within two years. Unfortunately, the price seems to reflect the quality.
