My only thing about it was that the original chain that came with it was too thin for a teenager (in my opinion ONLY)...so I was afraid it would break with her & I DEFINITELY did not want her to lose the pendant...So I replaced the chain with a sterling silver box chain.Either way the "Whales Tale" is absolutely beautiful & well worth the price oN Amazon.I highly recommend it for a gift for anyone.The blue opals just shine!

Because I was asked this morning, yes the black line on the photo is not there on the actual piece. The black line appears to be the reflection of - probably - the camera in the SS of the piece. The SS is shiny and complete around the Opal. This is really a beautiful necklace that I bought for my daughter to match the one I bought for my wife years ago. BTY. They show this as a Whale Tail but the package shows it as a Dolphin tail. If you can tell the difference and/or if it matters.

Very nice pendant. Bought one for our granddaughter on lightning deal. Liked it so much that Gramy tried it on, and hasn't taken it off for about three months! Had to buy three more (at regular price) for granddaughters and birthday gift for niece. No green neck, no itchiness, and whale's tail looks good as new. No kidding, she hasn't taken it off for about three months! A perfect gift!
