Purchased as a gift for my 13 year-old cousin. Ordering it I figured if they're not great I can just return it. I have to say, it's beautiful in person and appears very well made. Highly recommend! I didn't measure it, but it's not a very big or heavy piece. I was also afraid it might be large, but it's not— just big enough to see the delicate detailing—and it's quite pretty, skewing towards elegant.

It’s much smaller than I thought and very light weight. I question if the abalone is real or not. Overall it is very pretty and has tons of detail. I like it for the most part!

One of my favorite necklaces to wear. Loved mermaids since childhood and had to have this necklace. Not childish in design at all and love the colors of the abalone shell that the mermaid sits in front of.
