My husband is a rancher who gets dirty and sweaty on a daily basis. All of the chains he's had in the past turned dark or black regardless of material structure. I had to clean them constantly. He really likes this chain. After weeks of wearing while working the chain is still shining like new. It's sturdy but doesn't pinch. And it comes in 30" so he can just remove it over his head. it's only the clasp that's gold the rest is fake... however it hasn't greened yet and it still looks great after two months!Update; after about 6 months of wearing it, the clasp broke, after I fixed it I started to notice the color extremely fading. It lasted 8 months

I love this company chains, but if you buy bigger than 2.5,they are not good for charms, don't get me wrong, Chain is Swagger n it keeps it shine. I have 3 different sizes, the other 2 are Awesome with my charms, but I damaged my thickest one with Charlie is 2.5 , but still can wear it. But this chains Jeep their shine n look like white Gold❣️💖
