I am stunned at the level of detail on this bead, considering its size. The pictures on Amazon are so detailed, that I imagined the bead would be much bigger than it actually is, and I couldn't stop bugging my daughter to "look at it, look at it, look at it" because of the fineness of the color-work and the brightness of the stones. The stones are so sparkly and the silver is so highly polished, that I struggled to get a picture of it (the sparkles and shine both skew the color and make the focus difficult), and finally gave up. I plan on using this only as a small pendant, and not on a charm bracelet. I've got it on a fine sterling silver chain right now, but I need a shorter chain to bring it up higher on my chest where it's easy to see. What a beautiful little piece!

This is a beautiful blue butterfly. I got it for my daughter because of the light blue stones (she's December born) but kept it for myself because it was so stunning. Naughty me. But I'm a September baby and the dark blue stones are fitting for me too. See? Justification. :P It looks stunning on my bracelet!

I have owned my Pandora bracelet for years, and up until recently have been very brand loyal when purchasing charms. When I saw this one I just couldn't t resist. I was not disappointed. It is even more lovely in person than it is in the photo. The enamel is nicely decorated. Where it really shines, both literally and figuratively, is in the insane multitude of tiny colored gems. They are not garish in any way but just simply stunning. Depending on the viewing angle they appear either matte or absolutely radiant. This gives the piece a level of sophistication that exceeds the appeal of the listing photos. I have no qualms about the beauty, nor do I have any about the quality and functionality. I actually inadvertently tested the durability right out of the package. I accidentally dropped it right away. It slipped right out of my fingers (arthritis), dropped into a big glass canning jar that was sitting on my kitchen counter, quickly ping-ponged around in the jar, and then slowly came to a stop. I was so upset as I thought surely it would terribly scratched and missing so many stones. I carefully slid it out of the jar, pinched it securely between my fingers and took it under a light to inspect it. Not a single imperfection, scratch, missing stone, or blemish of any sort. Wow! All I saw was a ton of sparkling little beauties staring back at me. I am inarguably impressed with the quality and durability. Functionally, it is a perfect fit for my Pandora bracelet, and the slightly beveled holes stop it from being a super-slider. They don't catch on my snake chain, but rather slide slowly and with relative ease. All of this and 925 silver. Floored. Excellent buy!
