This is nicer than expected. The pendant has some weight, as it should - but so frequently jewelry doesn't when you get it in your hands. This has the solid feel that I think all good jewelry should have.The stones are saturated and bright in color - none of that washed out nonsense you'll sometimes get when folks use the camera to make stones look better than they actually are.These are also created aquamarine stones, not blue CZs. Created aquamarine is, of course, less pricey than natural, but you have none of the ethical worries you'd get with mined stones while getting the same chemical composition (and less expensive to boot!). The stones are well matched across the piece, which is of course easier with created stones, but I'm never mad at a good, consistent look.The chain and pendant are both marked 925, and neither is magnetic, giving me no reason to doubt the stamp. (The clasp is magnetic, but the inner springs should not be made of sterling, so that's both normal and acceptable. The rest ignored the magnet entirely.)In case you're wondering, yes, there's a lovely color match with the teardrop birthstone earrings from the same brand, which I'm also reviewing.At about $55 (at time of review) for the pendant and chain, I'm going to say that's well within reason for the quality that they deliver.Absolutely recommend, at least with respect to the aquamarine version. SOLID 4 stars, creeping up towards 4.5, which is going to round up to 5 stars.
