The sparkle of the Pear-shaped stone is VERY impressive.The halo of smaller stones are a wonderful touch because they make this pair of lever-backs seem like the real deal - fine jewelry with gold and diamonds - and not some cheap pair (which, price-wise they totally are!) So, best of both worlds, I can have a pair of earrings that is going to look terrific, but I won't stress if I lose one.As far as the lever-back closure, it is very secure and fits tightly in place - again, the feel if the closure is high-end. If you wear a lot of lever-backed earrings you know what I mean. There are many where the back closes, but not tightly, and ones where the back closing doesn't line up right to the post, so you have to fiddle to get it properly clamped, or ones where they just don't open easily and close with a 'snap!' so forceful and unexpected that it can catch your fingers or earlobe. I didn't find any of those issues with this pair. I put them on and took off several times to check.I had absolutely no problems and I received compliments all day long. They are the perfect length too. I'm so happy I rolled the dice and bought these without any reviews.Will definitely recommend to all my friends!

I received these earrings today and was eager to try them on. I noticed that one had a missing stone at the bottom center. Then I looked at the other one and noticed that it was also missing a stone on the same spot for the second earring. I’m not sure if it’s a production error? But I am disappointed.
