First impression is disappointing. These are not really byzantine links, but cast solid piece. And the earing is flat. Flatter than you would expect, especially if you bought it to match the byzantine chain necklace and bracelet, so that is a real let down. If you didn't have the expectation of that matching look, then these look pretty nice on their own.PROS:-------- Good looking, if you didn't have certain expectations- Secure back keeps them from getting lost easilyCONS:-------- Not really a byzantine chain, but cast solid piece- Much flatter than you would expect, doesn't match necklace and bracelets (Pictures should show this better)- Shipping via UPS is a bummer, and slower then if shipped directly by AmazonSo if you can live with them being flat, and don't need them to match the thickness and roundness of other byzantine chain jewelry, then this might be for you.
