This necklace is 925 sterling silver. To clarify, jewelry must be labeled 925 to classify as real sterling silver. Since silver is a soft metal, copper is added. The appropriate mix is 92.5% silver and the remaining copper. As you shop for high quality true sterling silver, always look for 925. Otherwise, it will turn your skin green. This necklace is beautifully crafted! Excellent quality!
