This ring is my 75th Birthday present and it exceeds expectations. The craftsmanship is amazing, and the opal - lab created or natural - is beautiful. The colors are primarily blue and green -- and in bright light the ring glows like green fire. Each opal piece is backed by black onyx (making it a doublet) to enhance the color and to add strength to the fragile opal slices. While this is good, I would suggest that every buyer also purchase the lifetime (30 yrs) insurance -- for repair or replacement, should the ring get damaged.

Just received my ring, the pictures do not do it justice. In the sunshine it flashes all different colors. I’m a guy, but this thing is beautiful. If you think you will like it but aren’t quite sure, get it cause it is nice.

Indeed, a beautiful ring and looks perfect on the hand. The only problem my husband has with it, is the inside of the ring where the stones are. Its not a silver finish, but some kind of dark compound that he's clearly allergic to. We tried, he wouldn't wear it for a few weeks then try again. Same problem. So, after many months of trying it just sits in our jewelry box, looking beautiful but going unused. He really loves it, but I wasted my money on this one.
