Clamshell with pearl and chain charm for Italian-style bracelets/necklaces made with real sterling silver and stamped. Painted with enamel for a pretty almost ombre effect in blue to purple. The top and bottom of the charm have star-shaped cutouts for even more detail to the already beautiful charm. I especially love the added starfish to the shell on both sides so if your charm flips while wearing it the design is uniform.Wash with mild soap and water as needed only, with a soft toothbrush. If tarnished, use sterling silver polish to remove oxidation, rinse with water dry right away, and store in a velvet bag to prevent oxidation as quickly. Otherwise, wipe down with a soft cloth damp or dry after each wear, and place into a jewelry bag or box for safekeeping. Remove before going swimming, bathing, washing dishes, hand washing clothes, sweating, or other wet environments to keep this in top shape. Remove when applying lotion, sunblock, insect repellent, or other chemicals- perfumes, body spray, etc. to avoid ruining the enamel finish or further oxidation to the silver.I do not know if the pearl is real or not, but I think it might be. I don't want to ruin it if it is fake though so I am not testing it.Can be worn on an empty necklace chain, or with multiple charms if you have a theme, if no theme you can put all your memory charms together as a keepsake. Works well on Italian-style bracelets or a necklace. Buying charms on Amazon is a great way to afford them versus going to name-brand sites, you can find all kinds of sterling silver charms and those with gold plating at a decent price. A fun way to collect memories or make personalized gifts with meanings behind them. Great for pre-teens to grandmas of all ages.I would not recommend making gifts with these for small children who might try to put removable beads into their mouth- unless you plan to let the mom or dad keep these for them and add to over the years until they're old enough to wear them and take care of them. You could make this a regular gift for a birthday or Christmas for daughters, nieces, cousins, sisters, and friends, and highly affordable to add a bead each year.

I absolutely love this cute little snowflake charm, I put it on one of my favorite brackets and it was able to stay on there without falling off. I have had a bit of an issue in the past with getting charms and then they would fall off and it wouldn’t stay and I would have to go back and find some of them. However, this one was able to stay on there and it was really pretty, and not too heavy.

As annual vacationers to the best US shelling beaches of Sanibel, shells are a recurring theme in my jewelry. This little charm works great on my pandora vacation bracelet. I did notice this charm is lighter in weight than most others of this size due to it being hollowed between the shell ribs which is actually a plus since these bracelets can get heavy when filled. The tiny pearl and gold starfish add not only a sweet touch of whimsy but also make it stand out subtly. It’s just lovely and well made.
