I purchased this necklace for my ten year old granddaughter’s birthday. She was thrilled and put it on immediately. The second time she wore it, the chain broke. She was disappointed just as I am. My granddaughter is very careful with everything. I feel certain the broken chain is a manufacturing issue. I would say purchase with caution.
