This is a really, really nice piece of jewelry. It is small enough to work with a "multiple necklaces on at once" situation, but beautiful and shiny enough to work on its own with a little black dress. It is also plain enough to work as a conventionally unisex piece of jewelry (My wife and I decided that we are both going to wear it). Artfully designed, appealing to the eye, and it glints in the sun just right. This is the rare kind of statement piece that is a go-to when assembling a capsule wardrobe. Excited to wear this out and garner compliments.

Beautiful design but the clasp are sooo small. Not good for bigger hands ( i.e. husbands/boyfriend putting it on your woman's neck).

As someone who has purchased my fair share of jewelry, this necklace does not disappoint. The pendant, chain, and lobster clasp feel solid and sturdy, and they are all stamped 925 indicating that they are indeed of silver. The gold plating is shiny without looking fake, the opal is milky white with flecks of iridescent green, the starburst of rhinestones add a nice amount of glimmer and sparkle, and the chain is adjustable to accommodate different outfit necklines and different neck sizes. An eye catching piece without being ostentatious or gaudy. Very well done indeed.

Arriving packed in a giftable box,however was less impressed than other reviews of this item.At first glance it is nice enough,however I found the stones and pendant to be much smaller than its advertised images show.The brilliance of the petite chain is on par with other items in this category.Hoping for equally brilliant stones, as these seem to get lost in the sunburst surrounding it,left me dissappointed.As always I really dislike leaving a less than stellar review as I give each item every benefit.The price point being my biggest concern prevented me from leaving a better rating.Possibly if it were sold at half price,it would have allowed me to leave a more generous review.However taste is subjective as evidenced by its many five star reviews.Some may disagree with my findings as is their prerogative,and are capable of deciding for themselves before making this purchase.Unfortunately I'm less than enthusiastic and unable to fully endorse this item.

I ordered this necklace in the "opal" version. It is delicate, eye-catching and quite beautiful. The pendant is stamped silver, plated with yellow gold, and the starburst design (with the rays lined with cz) really shows off the opal. The chain, which is also stamped, is delicate but seems strong and balances the looks of the pendant perfectly. It measures just a bit over 16in long with a 2in long extension, and has an oblong lobster clasp. The necklace was packaged in a couple of small zippered plastic bags inside a gift box, and a small polishing cloth was also included. It would make a lovely gift, but for best effect you would probably want to take it out of the plastic bags before you presented it. This necklace looks absolutely stunning when worn and really stands out without being too gaudy. The pictures truly don't do it justice, and I just love it. Definitely recommend.

The center stone is a white Opal that for some reason is showing as yellowish with my camera. The stone is small high limits the fire in it, but it is definitely there when the light shifts around it. The small stones are not really that visible to the eye but they make themselves known when the light hits them as they sparkle beautifully. A very pretty necklace to give some variety to jewelry that tends to be hearts and teardrops.
