I was a little unsure of these when ordering as I can be pretty sensitive to some jewelry metals but wanted to try them, as they’re so cute. I love them! I received several compliments on my first wear, and as an avid ocean lover this was a really fun thing to spark conversation.I expected to only be able to wear them for a few hours at a time, but wore them for an entire day with no issues. They’re lighter than I expected, but not as light as a stud of course, their weight didn’t effect my experience with them.Be wary if you are sensitive to sound, though, as the longer tentacle is removable and thus made a little tiny jingling noise when you move your head quickly. This didn’t bother me as it was few and far between. I like that one of the tentacles is removable so it can be worn as either just one or two on each side!

I ordered the “Style A-Steel” version of these earrings to complement my goth/alternative aesthetic, which they do well. They come in a nice-sized, black, velvet, drawstring pouch with the interesting brand name printed on it in shiny, gold lettering. These are really cute, front-back-type earrings, and they fit my earlobes well. They have some weight to them, but it doesn’t feel like they’re tugging my earlobes down. They’re dainty but not too small, being fairly close in size to how they’re currently photoshopped onto the models in the product images, though they have a different appearance, as in real life, the octopus head sits on the front of your earlobe while the tentacles sit behind it. I like that the octopus head has a skull-like quality to it. It’s also cool that the tentacles have suction cup details on the front, while they’re slick on the back. These have such tiny details that convey quality. Overall, these are fantastic!

My daughter is crazy about octopi and anything with that theme is always a hit. These are a very nice set of earrings. Something unique about then is that the head has the stud on the back and it passes through a hole in the top of the legs to put them on. So, depending on how tightly you press the backing, the legs stand still and it looks like one piece or then can move slightly as you move your head. Then again, it also means there is one more piece that can be lost and make it useless.Still, they are unique and nice quality and my adult daughter absolutely loves them.

I have very sensitive skin/ears, but these Octopus stud earrings do not bother my ears at all. I can wear them every day for 10 hours a day for 6 days straight without incident. I think these are really cool in theory and very interesting, but my only complaint is that the octopus heads spin around a little bit, and it's hard to keep them on straight. I also think the posts should be a bit longer to compensate for the fact that the tentacle part has to be put on them. Otherwise, I like them a lot. They're a little heavy but they don't bother my ears, and I got tons of compliments on them.

A little heavy, but not bad. So far I've worn them to a Comic-Con, and I'm going to wear them with my Ren faire outfit later this week. But they look really cool.

Do not hesitate to buy this, I am absolutely thrilled with how nice they are. These could be 50 and I would still recommend. They are so nicely detailed and even the little gem eyes sparkle nicely. Since they are steel, they should not tarnish. They are not too heavy. They look good whether you put the tentacles in front of, or behind, your ears. I love these, I'm thinking I may gift some friends these as well. So perfect for a piratecore look. The only thing is I would recommend, if you have any, to swap out the tiny butterfly backs for wide plastic or silicone backs so it balances on your ear hole better.
