I was so excited to get this and without breaking the bank. However, when it came I could not get it open. Lockets should not be THAT hard to open. There was also no "hinge" I could see to indicate where the necklace opened. I've had others like this that were easy to open to be able to change out the gems, but stayed shut. This purchase was a double edged sword. Nice locket but mine might've been defective design. Also came with the wrong chain.

The actual locket looks good, my only issue is with the chain. I ordered 2 different styles of lockets from this same company and both came with chains that have little balls evenly spaced across them, but I was expecting plain ones as shown in the items' pictures. I tried emailing the company about this but have not heard anything back yet. Now I will have to spend more money to get 2 plain chains to go with the lockets, which is quite irritating.

Chain was not as pictured and very cheap. I had a buy another chain to hold it. I love the locket itself but the chain was garbage.

I re-ordered this item because i dropped it on a concrete floor and it cracked. The fact that there arent any size options when you do order is a problem (thats what i get for assuming), however, all i have to go by is an image that i prevously ordered..which i thought would just be an exact replica. I cant fit all my charms into this replacement. Otherwise the product is great..no tarnish or peeling so stainless steel is great if you have sensitive skin like me.
