I purchased a similar pocket watch chain that the manufacturer claimed to be stainless. It was actually chrome covered brass.Not in this case.I feel I have gotten the bang I wanted for my buck.

Although a little pricey, it's the best value I've found for a good, stainless chain. I bought the gold plated one as well, to go with the gold watches.

Severely overpackaged. It came taquitoed in paper inside of a velour pouch inside of a box wrapped with metallic elastic inside of a black box inside of a ziplock bag inside of the shipping envelope. I paid for all of that? It's just a steel chain. The chain seems standard hardware-store quality (shiny with visible cast seams on the clasps), which I guess is good, given the recent influx of low-quality junk on Amazon.

I bought this chain for my swiss army knife. I was constantly losing my knife so I decided that the chain would remedie this problem. It works great, you only see about 2" to 3" of the chain and it solved my problem. I rated it 4 stars because it looks good and serves my purpose.
