I only used to wear sterling silver but I got real tired of always having my wrist or my neck be tarnished with green skin and then you have to carefully clean your .9 to five sterling silver and always use the cloth rag to clean it so I did my research and stainless steel is the way to go you can wear it in the ocean in salt water you can shower with it you can work out with it and sweat and your skin does not tarnish but I would say just clean your stainless steel jewelry in cold water that’s it this necklace is awesome bottom line
