I've been waiting for my review to make sure it is a good timepiece. This was 7th watch in collection, I have 2 Stuhrling's and from all the reviews I've read they have a bad rap. That being said I love the Stuhrling's . They r works of art. Very beautiful , also they r very complicated. So if u want one of the most complicated, beautiful works of art on your wrist buy this. I've looked at thousands of watches on several web sights from all different price ranges. I do believe this and Akribros XXIV r the most beautiful and very inexpensive. I think u could spend thousands of dollars and only get a name. This is very impressive watch well worth what I paid for it, got great deal on pres day sale. The krysterna crystal adds depth to the face it magnifies the workings, making it a pleasure to glance at it. The dual date is very easy to set , small dial first counter clockwise then large dial clockwise . Just pay attention and don't go past the correct time. It is the most accurate watch I have as near as I can tell. There is no second hand but the flying gear keeps track of seconds but is divided into thirds. I believe it to b within a few seconds a week. After wearing 8 days it came to a stop, I thought here we go . I noticed watch to b fully wound, as the 2 mainspring's r visible from face. Then when I went to reset time there was slight pop I could feel , then it began running again. I thought perhaps it was overwound which I beleive. I let sit for a couple days then tried to wind which it would not do (it was still running). U could wind the crown but the gears that turn spring did not move I thought it was broken.Then next day it was perfect again. I do believe it is over wind protection. I wear watches 24 hours a day and I think Stuhrling's run better if u let them unwind at night while u sleep. I have no trouble with the lumenesence it last all night. There is at least a 60 hr reserve. Very stunning, hope this is helpful.

Beautiful! Great quality and design for the money. Love the kinetic winding. Wish there was a “seconds” hand to have the gears always moving but I think for the price it is a fantastic piece. It feels like a very high quality watch. The band is really large for the “average” guy. They could include some tools for removing some links. I brought mine to a jeweler to have the links removed. Very pleased with the watch. All of my friends want one now and have gone through with purchasing them. Highly recommended for a beautiful watch that won’t break the bank.

Nice watch, but within a year started to notice problems. Though it's an automatic, I started to notice that even winding the watch, wouldn't get it going. It would take winding, and wearing the watch for a few hours, for it to start moving and working. Never had I seen this with an automatic watch. Still works, and looks great, but that shouldn't happen with any automatic watch where it takes that long to get the movement going. Looks wise, the ONLY negative, is the placement of the companying wording on the face of the watch, looks ugly and is distracting when looking at how beautiful the case/face are. Whoever thought to put if there should be fired, as it takes away from the beauty of the watch. I got this on a lighting deal, so if you can find it for around $100, I would recommend, going higher, with the issues I've had in less then a year, probably not worth it.

Held up well for 8 months. After the ninth month the minute hand completly fell off. I question the craftsmanship on this brand now. With so many competitors I'm not sure how this resulted in me paying 20 dollars for shipping to repair their faulty work. Did not even offer free shipping or an apology. NOT WHAT I WOULD EXPECT FOR A PURCHASE OVER 250.00Pretty prices but bad quality. I hesitate to purchase again.Update! After mailing in for repairs to be told that my warranty is void due to the watch being dropped. Charged for repairs. The drop was from the coffe table. An egg can fall and hold up better. Thanks for nothing. Buy a more reputable brand.

For $240.00 I expected a lot better execution of the overall design The case is way too thick and clunky-looking.It needs to be thinner by about 20 millimeters. I had no idea that it was so huge!

I've bought this item and I saw a factorical problem as you can see on photo. Metal is damaged . I contacted with amazon and they helped me. Watch is absolutely beatifull! I've been taken with Day/Night detail. It is working :) And dual time is pretty good. Watch seems Silver. This price this item I can't say anything... it is the best watch in Stuhrling.

This watch looks nice in the picture but I was blown away at the detail when I saw it in person. My dad flipped when he opened his Christmas gift. He spent all day watching youtube videos about how to take care of it and reading everything there is to know about the watch. It comes in a nice big beautiful box with an elegant pillow, insturctions, and a wipe to clean it with. I got it with Amazon Prime so it came in a gigantic box and lots of bubble wrap so it was perfectly safe. I am so happy I bought this and I will be looking into getting more with this company!
