This watch, was a total surprise! I thought this would be just another inexpensive fashion piece, but I was impressed as was my jeweler. It looks and feels like a watch of substance. The beautiful square face fits perfectly with the thickness of the links. The gold face and band have beautiful contrasts of a more subtle suede gold, and the bands are linked with more shining gold. Everyone in the shop was impressed. The total effect is a nice quality, without going overboard with glitter. It is not often that a totally gold watch can remain restrained enough to be wearable day or night, and not cross the line into flashy. It is a tasteful design, and my jeweler says the interior quality is good!I have included pictures of the watch on my arm, which my jeweler removed extra links, at no cost. And a picture of everything included in my purchase. Which, by the way, includes the tool to remove extra links! The box came with instructions, in large print, and pictures. I chose to have my jeweler remove links, because he is well known for doing this for any customer. With all the watches I have purchased from Amazon, I have really taken advantage of this free service. But it also allows me to receive a professional opinion of the piece. He was very impressed with the style and quality, and stunned by the price. The two female associates were dazzled by the variations of the gold luster, and fawned over the look, especially after I told them them price. The professional consensus was the watch quality is of greater value than the price. That rarely happens to me.I really like this watch for a couple of reasons that impress me. I love the idea that the face and band flow together, without a huge face. It is easy to read. The date however,requires my glasses. But this addition is no big deal. The total look and feel equally balanced, as the ez folding clasp keeps the watch looking symmetrical, and will never fall off your arm.The watch, is an easy 5☆'s. The price, makes it 10!Tastefully beautiful.January, 2021The watch continues to impress, and I have not needed to add a battery because my jeweler informed me that the movement is high end Japanese quality that is found in more expensive timepieces. Amazing!I decided to purchase another watch from this collection. I now have the complete silver model. Fantastic! As the jewelry fashion trend has leaned toward silver, with a diamond cut and Rhodium coat, for sparkle and protection from tarnish, I decided to add the same style in a silver timepiece. A superb choice. My updated silver bracelet, necklace, and diamond ring are so complimentary that I am unable to see any difference between the expensive jewelry and the watch. The shop was again very impressed. As this is the period after the holidays and very busy, the owner's relative set the links for me. Sure enough attention was drawn to the jewelry collection. With all the Amazon accrued dollars I confessed the $9 plus change the watch cost. Of course they did not believe me, and I explained how I used the remaining credits. They still did not believe me until I showed them my Amazon account. The shop was by then surrounding me, admiring the beautiful items , and I was for one moment happy that my deceased parents were not looking at my expenses.This watch style and quality draw daily attention. Every bit as good with time as a Timex, and half the price.If you wonder how it looks on my (over) 65 yr old arm, when you click on the picture of the watch, that is my arm with gold piece atop my living room fireplace mantle aside a vase of tulips. I believe the size and style are flattering, and my jeweler is very impressed with the internal workings. As a Dr., this body is beyond my knowledge base, and I trust my professional. His prognostication is a long and happy life. An excellent investment for $25, wouldn't you say?PS; My watches came with everything you could possibly need. Even a polishing cloth. The tools also included. I took a picture of all the accoutrements. The jeweler was short one tool and asked if I might gift him one. As all equipment arrived with both watches, and my jeweler never charges for the service, I was very pleased to be of service to them. I do not know why people remark about not receiving their's, but the comments are from different style lines of watches. The square faced watches do not look anything like the mesh and rectangular models. I do not understand why they are reviewed in the same category? I suspect this is confusing to buyers who are unfamiliar with the very different styles.PS; For those who are angry about sizing the wrist band, call your local jewelers. I have found that all of my fine jewelers will do this at no expense. They will also take care to balance the removed links, so the watch sits perfectly on the arm. Both of my timepieces look and function perfectly!As I have written back several times now, you might think I have some financial link (LOL) to the company. Nothing could be further from the truth- unfortunately. I really like both of these pieces and find that a simple call to a jeweler will find that a reputable company will gladly solve your problem, and save you a great deal of stress. Their kindness is a good investment in future of business, as the watch will need a battery. My gifting one of my tools will be remembered as a kind customer, as these come with so many timepieces. I own so many watches, I am remembered by name, and a regular customer. A fine jeweler is like a good car service provider. You depend on them, and they you. Good business has its rewards. You are more likely to receive honest advice and attention in a time when both are becoming harder to find and less likely to do it yourself. I try my best to be remembered as a good customer. The latter can be very expensive. Who can fix their own car these days.
