The Madeira citrine stud 6mm earrings are perfect! The rich warm orange golden color that you would expect is fiery and bold. The stones do not lean heavily brownish like some other Madeira citrines. This is how Madeira citrines are supposed to look. The earrings are comfortable to wear not at all heavy. They do not sag in the ears. The 6mm size shows up beautifully. The gold plating is also nice and warm it looks like real 14k gold. The earrings are not screwbacks but ... some reviews showed complaints about the posts bending and pics of broken posts. Here is a tip: The posts of the earrings are strong, will not bend or break as long as you're gentle and apply the back like you would with a screwback. Don't snatch the earring back off or shove it on when wearing the earrings. Be gentle to avoid breaking off or bending the posts. These earrings will last with the proper care!

I love the purple color....it's not too dark where you can't tell it is actually purple. Doesn't really sparkle but that is ok. My problem is the post. It seems to be thicker than your normal post. These are comfortable to wear all day. When I take the earrings out in the evening, it is like I am taking the inside of my piercing hole out with the earring. It really tugs on the skin. I even looked in my mirror to make sure I wasn't imagining things.
