The stones are clear, well cut and have a nice, natural-looking green color. The "martini glass" mounting nestles into the ear a bit so that you see the stones more and the mounting less. I like it that way. Some of my other studs have big, thick backs that protrude from my ear lobe and draw attention away from the stones they hold.

The listing for Peora products specifically states "knowing that each Peora piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and meets all U.S. Federal Trade Commission Guidelines."My earrings gift did not come with a certificate, and the jewelry box itself was defaced with a paper sticker glued to it that said "14k Gold Studs...ated Emerald Gemstone" which would be assumed by most people to have meant "Simulated Emerald Gemstone" which is much less desirable than Lab or Natural stones. It's a machine screw up, and a human screw up, and the fact that the Cerificate isn't provided as stated makes it worse.Edit 7/22: Reading this again I can see where it looks like I accused them of shipping "(Simul)ated...Gemstones" instead of (Lab Cre)ated. That was not my intent.
