The stones are not three mm, they're closer to 2mm. That being said they are beautiful the color is spectacular the rose gold is lovely not too pink not too gold, and my sensitive skin is not reacting to the metal. The shanks are short. This is good if you want to use them for sleeping and your earlobes aren't too thick, or if they are for a child. The backs are silicone and seem to cling really well to the shanks. I've been checking them and they haven't gotten loose or falling off at all. In all I would probably buy them again.

Beautiful! Only downside is they are way too small for my ears, posts aren’t long enough. I will be giving them to my little girl, they are a perfect size for a child.Great silicone backs too!

I got the 3mm natural opal. I kind of wish I'd gotten the manufactured opal because it looks like it has more color in it and at 3 mm it's hard to see much color in the natural ones. My main complaint is that the poster too short. They are really short, the shortest I've ever had on earrings. I'm older so my loves are a little and the stones sink into my ear holes. If I try to move the stop up on the post they fall out.

The earrings are quite tiny, as expected and what I was looking for. I purchased 3 pairs and they look very nice worn together. Wearing one pair alone is barely noticeable. I’d give 5 stars if not for the plastic backs. It was difficult trying to attach them once I put the earrings in. No matter how hard I tried, the plastic/silicone backings didn’t work. Fortunately I have gold backings that fit perfectly.

There is nothing to like about this tiny pair of opal earrings!! I think you need a magnifying glass to see them. I could never use the backs that they provided for these earrings I tried other backs that I have for other earrings they would not work. The picture they provide makes the earrings look very large even the picture I took makes them look larger than what they really are. Don't waste your money.

There is no spark coming from these genuine blue sapphire studs when you move them in the light. The backs are so small you can barely grip them to place post in them. I have dropped the backs trying to hold them to place in my ears. I can't wear them if I have little time to dress. It takes too long to get them in my ears. The post is not very long so if your earring jackets are thick, these post may be too short to securely fit through your jacket, ear, and back. I know the studs were only $50.00. 3 stars. What did I expect? The same goes for the opals with the post and backs. There is no fire or rainbow sparkle in the opal studs. They also sit flat in the setting so there is no rise above your earring jacket. 2 stars.
