Had to update this review… unfortunately I do not think these are true 14k gold. My wife’s ears started to break out after wearing these for an extended period of time, which has never happened with true 14k gold. Now highly suspicious of this brand. Real shame because she really liked them

This is screw backing. I am very diligent in making sure jewelry is tight. I lost one only after a few weeks. You can pull these off, even with screw design. Pretty, but not very secure. If was made better, I'd replace them
