Earrings arrived on time as promised. The plastic backing looked flimsy and I didn't relish the experience of having an earring fall off accidentally so I switched the backings with my separately bought ones. The earring metal stem appears to be made of genuine 14k gold because it's soft & malleable hence it has the possibility of bending out of shape or even worse, snapping off if not handled with utmost care. The 5 mm amethyst earrings are great for petite ladies like myself or for older kids because they don't look ostentatious. They simply look nice. The amethyst stone in the earrings is a dark and bright color, thus adding to the glamour of the jewelry piece. It can comfortably be worn 24/7. I purchased another earring very similar to this, an opal, and gifted it to a friend who loved it so much. I'll update this review in the future should there be significant changes but for now, I recommend this product.

These earrings are impressive! The company, Decadence sends them in a beautiful box with a little bag inside with the earrings. I bought the London Blue Topaz and they are beautiful!! Highly recommend this product!!!

Pro:Blue Topaz-London Blue Topaz , White Gold 5mmThese earrings are very pretty. The 5 mm are a little to big for a 7 yr old. I should have ordered smaller.Con: they do not come with gold backings. (That is specified in the the description). I figured I would use gold backings that I have.These posts do not have the indents, to stop the backing from falling off.The clear plastic backing that come with them are not tight enough, they fall off too.We will see how long until they get lost ;(

Backs really are hard to work with I prefer a butterfly back. In fact I switched them out right away. The earrings are surprisingly petite. Ok for a little girls birthday birthstone gift. Looks dumb on an adult.

The media could not be loaded.  UPDATE: my third day wearing these, as I was putting on the earring, it bent and I can no longer wear. RETURNING. I bought these to replace a pair of lapis earrings I recently lost. They’re close to what I had.

Bought to replace a daughter's graduation gift of 1 carat Princess Cut Black Diamonds. They were screw-backs but she lost one of them the first weekend she wore them. The maker/seller of those earrings did not offer a single earring purchase so I found these to replace them. AND SHE LIKES THEM BETTER!They're just the right size and she says they're more comfortable. So very pretty on her ears and so worth the price.

I am very disappointed with these earrings, They are beautiful to look at but I put them in and wore them for 2 days, I went to take them out and the posts were bent! I had to straighten them to get them out of my ears! The thing that really upsets me is that I bought 4 pair of them! So if you buy these do not put them in and leave them in. I would say don't buy them at all, buy some with sturdier posts!
