Well made, good quality brocade & satin fabrics, professionally stitched and the green tassels on the ties are not just beautiful but very well madeI removed the ring holder on the inside (don't need it) as I use this to store my make-up, it's a perfect travel bag as it's soft & not a rigid box, so fits easily in your suitcase or weekender bagEach zippered compartment is the same size, being not very deep but large enough for lipsticks, make-up tubes, sticks & pencils, brushes, small pots, etc. - the open compartment at the top is the full length of the bag and so fits larger itemsThe colour I picked, green floral, is a beautiful shade of celadon green with brocade flowers, the satin interior fabric is very soft & complements the brocade very nicelyI don't know how well this would work as a jewellery bag since the zippered compartments are rather narrow, suitable for chains or 3mm beads but they certainly won't work for larger bead jewellery, large earrings, etc.This item is very suitable for gift-giving if the recipient wears mostly fine, dainty jewellery and not large, statement, or chunky jewellery
