My daughter has many allergies and sensitivity to nickel and other metals. The only earrings she can wear without having a reaction must be 14K yellow gold or higher--white gold has some nickel in it and she has a bad reaction after a month or so. She can also wear titanium and surgical grade stainless steel. The issue with titanium and medical grade stainless steel is that the earrings are usually 18 gauge or larger.If you are looking for a "regularly" sized post, these will be perfect because they are 20 or 22 gauge (typical post size). However, I must mention that the posts are a little on the long side. If you plan to wear these to bed and find that they are digging into you when you sleep, I recommend switching the backing with a rubber one because they are just as tight and it will stop the post from scratching or poking your head/neck area behind your ears.

Perfect size. Purchased as a gift and I was worried cause I usually never buy earrings sight unseen. But I was very pleased. They are just the right size and made of good quality. I only found these on amazon. It’s hard to find G clef earrings in my area.
