The box is very nice for a medal that has the slide-on button back pin. I had thought any type medal would work, but those with pins would just roll around. I wish it had a choice. The hole was not that visible in the photo online. My photo is a little over lighted by the flash and the interior looks much classier, but you can easily see the hole that holds the push on pin back. The pin in the box goes on a lapel. The box is a padded top. I think it is nice. I feel it is a bit pricy, but if you have an important medal with the proper back, this will be a very nice box.

The inside has the back pin taken out, so do not buy for anything other then pin.
