I have eight ear piercings, two of which I got in December in my cartilage. The other six are old, anywhere from 30 years to the last 10 years. I am sensitive to cheap metals so I have to be careful what I wear even in my oldest piercings.I have never experienced a negative reaction to a new piercing until these last two and I couldn't figure out why after 4 months these two would puff up with huge keloids every few days that never went away. The keloids were massive and would bleed at the slightest movement of the studs. Then it finally occurred to me it may be the metal, not my ears rejecting the piercings.I looked long and hard for good quality thin LONG posts that would fit not only the cartilage but the massive swollen keloid bumps. I was scared to mess with taking out the existing studs and then not being able to put in the replacements myself. I was determined not to lose these piercings, so I settled for traditional earrings because I felt it would be easier for me to swap.When I tell you the moment I switched the studs I was given by the piercer to these, and the keloids almost healed overnight - I'm not exaggerating.For the first time since I got my piercings four months ago my ears weren't on fire and I swear by the next morning the keloids had reduced by more than half. Here I am a week later and the keloids have shriveled to a dried out crust and fallen off. I am left with two almost healed beautiful cartilage piercings and I don't plan on switching out these earrings anytime soon.They're dainty, pretty, don't hurt, and perfection. I love them so much I bought 4 sets to replace all my earrings. I was even able to put them in my oldest piercings that I got as a kid without even the slightest hint of pain. That's how I know these are good quality.Look, they're small. If that's not what you're going for then move along. I feel confident wearing 8 of these babies at once to my conservative office job without the fear of being deemed as inappropriate with the number of piercings I have, simply due to how small and pretty they are. Being as long as the posts are they don't bother me at all while I sleep either, not even in the two newest piercings.For some reason I thought I was only getting one earring but they come in pairs which make sense since they're normal earrings not piercing studs. I doubt I'd be able to to fit 18 gauge posts in my piercings anymore after these heal but I'm ok with that. I prefer thin dainty studs and hoops anyways.My only regret is waiting so long to get these and suffering with the studs that were causing me so much pain!
