Battery life could be better

I bought this in Sept 2020. It looks nice and the time is reliable. But as far as how it works? It's literal garbage. I just turned the Bluetooth on because, as it does periodically, it has stopped doing the one thing aside from time that I use it for: step tracking. So I took a long walk with my dog today and parked far away from class and walked across campus, but it says 0 steps. Just as it did yesterday, but yesterday I didn't have time to mess with it (isn't that the point of having a watch that helps with these types of things?) Anyway, I turned on the bluetooth and watched the watch (ha) go from 91% charged to 84% charged in 5 minutes... It doesn't sync with Google Fit properly. It refuses to sync with any other apps it's supposed to be able to. If I leave Bluetooth or wifi on when I wake up, the watch is dead by 1pm ish. It has also ONLY ever charged in one specific position. If I don't immediately find that position, it beeps at me and flashes indefinitely. I honestly don't even know all of what it does because what I wanted it to do has never actually worked, so like why would i frustrate myself trying to figure out what else it should do? (Background: i work in tech and have tons of smart gadgets in my home - i'm not unfamiliar)It's literally the worst purchase I've made in the past decade. It's just a heavy wristwatch that reminds me of all the things I can't do because I can't justify buying another one until this one is fully dead.

Battery life barely lasts a full workday, which I expected. It does everything I need it to do: notifications and fitness tracking. Plus, it's not bulky and looks like a real watch, unlike other smartwatches.

Did not power up. I think the charger's teeth were not able to make contact with the charging ring on the watch.

This is a nice looking watch and I love Skagen’s style. It just seems like there’s always something that doesn’t quite work right with it. At the moment the alarm doesn’t make alarm sounds, but just a clicking noise. I switched to an iPhone recently which didn’t help as I don’t have the ability to respond to notifications with the watch. It’s also supposed to be able to connect to the iPhone for phone calls. For the longest time since I switched to the iPhone it wouldn’t connect. Just a few days ago I got a notification that it wanted to connect to the iPhone. So I far I’ve only made a phone call successfully with it one time. The rest of the time I just get a clicking noise from the watch. I’m probably going to switch to a hybrid smartwatch in the near future. I hope the next generation of Skagen/Fossil smartwatches fixes their problems.

Everything is good on this watch. The workouts The sleep tracking The fit. are all amazing on this watch.Well the battery life is so so...But the reason I'm giving 3 Star is because the connection is awful it took like 15-20 minutes for it to connect. And then sometimes it would disconnect randomly and take like 5-10 minutes to reconnect.

Slow chip and horrible battery life made it unusable for me.
