Wife's birthday is in December, so I bought her (among others) a similar pair of earring but with a London blue topaz stone (hey, I know every single tool in my shed and my garage, but I also need to know the December birth-stone, don't I?). Peora has only the Swiss topaz on Amazon ( Illuminating 2.00 Carats Swiss Blue Topaz Round Cut Earrings in Sterling Silver Rhodium Finish ), but they sell under the Oravo name on the big auction site, and have the London topaz for the same price)She liked them so much that now I have to buy almost the entire collection of these freakin' earrings... So I started with the Amethyst ( Illuminating 1.50 Carats Amethyst Round Cut Earrings in Sterling Silver Rhodium Finish ), Emerald, and Garnet ( Illuminating 2.00 Carats Garnet Round Cut Earrings in Sterling Silver Rhodium Finish ). (please Peora, stop making them in so many darn colors!These earrings are nice quality, they are very elegant and the stones have a great deep green color (the pictures I uploaded are a little too bright to accurately show the color).All in all I recommend these - great gift, good impact, very good value.PS- the emerald earrings were a bit more expensive (5 bucks more), but it is probably because of the stone price?!? But if she like green, or (hint) if she's born in May, what's 5 bucks more to make her happy?

Earrings are very pretty, but didn't come with Bullet backing. It came with a regular backing which was too large for earrings, & I had to switch with another pair I had. Would appreciate the description reflect exactly what you are getting. Am contacting mfgr to see if they'll send me the Bullet backings.

Looks like costume jewelry. Pretty, but don't purchase if you want something that looks like real emeralds.
