Beautiful medium dark- not too dark- rich purple stones that sparkle with dark hues,bright hues and glimpses of red flash. Although I have not worn them, the post feel sturdy and the backings feel very secure. I buy my daughter amethyst every X-mas and bday. I look forward to buying another piece from you in February. Each stud is well mounted and the color is good but they are not a matched pair. One stone is visibly smaller and the other is a darker purple. Trying to decide whether to return or exchange - I expect most/all pairs are mismatched based on how they are packaged. Each stud is in a small baggie, two of the single stud packages are packed in a larger baggie and shipped.
