The ring itself is pretty, but it feels more like the sterling silver is coated over plastic, I'm not sure the stone is actual stone either. Let's not forget either that the stone is loose in the setting so really not sure how long the ring will hold up. In general, I'm pretty disappointed because I looked for a really long time for the perfect Onyx ring and I got costume jewelry....
