I got two of these silvertone 5.0 mm stainless steel chains for two young boys age 10 and 11. They always wanted to have a chain but I didn't want to get them something super expensive in case they broke her lost it. So these ones are kind of like starter ones for them and the quality of them is so good you really couldn't even tell that it's not sterling silver. They're really nice and Polished and they seem sturdy and well-made. It came with a little velvet pouch for each one of them what makes a great gift bag, however I am going to buy a little jewelry boxes to be able to wrap them in. I thought it was kind of weird that when they come they were unclasp from the other side so I classed them together so they didn't fall out of the hanging packaging that they had on them. Being someone who's into piercings and jewelry I love the fact that they have option of stainless steel because it's a really easy metal for people skin and doesn't turn it green and I haven't had any skin issues with anyone it's stainless steel. Also they look really nice and seemed pretty well made and I think the boys are really going to love them.

Update:After wearing this necklace for one week the necklace broke due to their being too large of a gap apparently in between one of the links.Didn't notice it until I got home and half of the necklace (and thankfully my charm) was in my shirt. So, now I have half of a chain which is useless. I plan to contact the seller and hopefully they will make it write. I will update either way. LOVE this necklace!! It looks even better in person, I am a female and it is the perfect size!It's not too big and gaudy but not too small.It is a decent wait and very shiny, doesn't look cheap at all. It is a wonderful quality for a fantastic price! I highly recommend!

I have 4 children and a husband who all wear these! I first bought one for my husband but then my twin (boy and girl) outgrew their amber teething necklaces and really enjoyed having a necklace so I bought 2 more of these. The sizes are perfect, really. the smallest 1 is toddler to maybe a 6 year old, after that the next size would get you from 5-6, to probably 12 where you would buy the adult size. I'm not sure if theres a size in between as I'm writing this 2 years after the purchase of 4 for all my kiddos. Anywho, my husband has worn his for 3 years straight, no breaks or issues. it doesnt turn his neck green and it hasnt shown more than normal signs of wear. I would buy this again and again and again. What a great price and value!

It's been a month since I put the necklace on. I am one of those people who sleeps, showers, swims, and plays without wanting to remember to take my jewelry off, or having to clean it on a regular basis. With a house full of boy's, a husband I enjoy spending time with, and a small farm to run I just don't want to have to stop everything, and clean my jewelry! So many other things I could be doing with that time.The necklace has not tarnished, gotten scratched up, or changed in any way. I am really enjoying it!Of course I also love white gold, and .925 silver. I have just recently started trying out surgical Steele, and for the most part have not been disappointed! I have found that 361l surgical steele has been the one I like best for jewelry compared to other grades of surgical steele, so it is something I look for specifically in surgical steele jewelry.We are fortunate enough to be able to afford fine jewelry in precious metals and stones. My preference always is jewelry that makes me happy :) , and I don't feel a need to spend $100's to be happy with the things I like, same as I am not unhappy when I do choose to spend a lot on the things I like. At the end of the day it is after all about what you like to wear, and what fits best into your lifestyle. Surgical steele keeps showing up in my searches, and I have to say it has come a long way from the new piercing studs for sure!This chain has some good weight that I really, really like, and it looks very nice- You really can not tell the difference between this one, and my .925 chains other than my .925's look more matte, and are slightly lighter silver in color, same with the white gold chains. It's not really noticeable because some chains are made to be shinier than others.Other than that I like this chain as much as my .925 and white gold chains, and adore that the 361l necklaces are basically maintenance free!Liked it enough that I purchased one for our 3rd grader as a "training" necklace as you could call it. We purchased it in the smallest available here- 18" which is a little long on him, but a good start that won't hurt my feelings if he loses, or breaks it. With his big brothers We waited until they hit between 12, & 13 before we bought them jewelry just because our boy's are very active, rough & tumble, and trying to find a broken/lost necklace on a farm is next to impossible! Lol!He's very happy with it! His father has had a white gold chain of the same style for longer than we've been together, & we have raised one of our boy's to adulthood at this point. They have never known their Dad without his chain, so having a chain of his own makes him super happy!We DO recommend this necklace for adults, and offspring! BUT because of the way it is packaged to you - you will want to receive first, so you can take it out of it's plastic sleeve, remove the cheap looking hanging tags, and put into it's included velvet bag! ;)Hope our review was helpful!

Love this!!! The price, wow!!! I purchased this for my 12 year old son who is tall and slim at 5’4. I could not find a good length in a masculine chain so I found this in a 20”. It sits perfect with room to grow it’s not too long. He loves it! Never wore chains before but I wanted to surprise him for Christmas with something and I am so happy he loves it. He wears it every day! I’m sure he will start a trend when he goes back to school after this Christmas break. It is good quality, enough shine, great width and length and looks way more expensive. I LOVE this!!

My son ADORES this chain, it’s looks great on him and keeps the shine. We were super disappointed when the jump ring to the clasp end broke after two weeks of light wear. Super bummed on sturdiness of that ring, the actual chain is VERY sturdy being stainless steel.

This necklace is correct in size, and it is stainless steel. It doesn't tarnish and it doesn't turn skin green or any other color. I wear it 24/7 and in the shower, too. I have a one ounce gold bar hanging on it and it is holding up great for two months straight. The clasp is strong and the necklace is strong. It's more than I expected.The seller was fast with shipping and it comes with a tiny velvet pouch. It's well packaged upon arrival. This necklace is definitely worth the money spent.

I received this chain necklace but it was missing a hook/clip at the ends, so there's no way to attach it together. Wasted money on a chain that's missing a piece.
