So what I couldn't see from the product photos is that these are actually 2 pieces. The long dangley part is supposed to go behind your ear with the starfish out front. Because of that fun design feature the pearls look like they are dripping from the bottom of your earlobe. It also means you can wear just the starfish alone. The dangley part also has 2 holes so you can adjust the height to fit your ear. I am so impressed with these earrings and I absolutely love them!
