The problem that I found with this is the link on the end of the chain.. If you are just wearing it, and it never gets tugged on, then it stays together with no problem.. But a couple of little tugs, and I found that the rings on the end, where the clasp is, start coming apart.. They are not solid and because of that, I could very easily seeing them coming apart if you catch on something.. This would also make me think, that just wearing it, over time, they would need to be tighten up too, just from the weight of the pendant. Considering the weight of the pendant, they should have used a thicker metal in this area..If willing, one thing you could do is, take the loop off of one side, and put it on the other to double it up.. This should help with that problem.. The end link on the side where the clasp connect to is just the right size, that you can connect the clasp to the end link of the chain.. So if this works for you, you could take that ring off and put it on the other side where the clasp is permanently connected to the chain.. This should fix the problem of these coming apart as easy.. Either that, or get new rings that are thicker and replace them.. I am going to double up them on mine.. This is why I only took one star off and not two.The size of the chain and pendant are in the pictures, and are very close to what they are said to be..This is NOT a light pendant.. It feels like it is solid SS, so do not expect this to be light around your neck..I like the fact that the chain is not really small.. At 24", I can wear it no problem.. I have a large neck, and because of this, I need at least a 24" chain to wear anything.. So the length is perfect for me.
